Norway Trekking Adventure

Norway Trekking Adventure

from $3,495.00

After a day in the picturesque port city of Bergen, where you can tour the Bryggen UNESCO World Heritage Site, sample the daily catch at the Torget Fish Market, or learn about Scandinavian art and culture at the KODE Museums, we'll head east along the fjords to Jotunheimen ("Home of the Giants").

Over four days and nights we'll lead you on an adventure through the awe inspiring landscape of central Norway's high peaks. The landscape changes daily and on this portion of the trip we'll journey through snowy peaks, along glacial lakes, through lush valleys, and even take in spectacular waterfalls. No tent needed on this hike! Instead we'll be staying in huts located along the route that feature beds and wood burning stoves. Some of the huts we'll stay at even come complete with a restaurant and bar! This adventure is perfect for someone who wants to experience a true mountain adventure without carrying a heavy pack (less than 10 lbs).

After completing our mountain journey, we'll head to a beautiful 19th century hotel situated along Sognefjord. From the comfort of this historic hotel, operated by the same family for five generations, you'll have the opportunity to rent a kayak or bike, go for a day hike, or just relax and enjoy the scenery before we board a ferry for the trip back to Bergen where we will complete our journey.

The trekking portion is hut based so this is perfect for someone looking for a multi-day adventure without a heavy pack.
